Venture Dynamics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced 1st Class Shipfitter to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position, with a focus on repair projects and working the night shift.

Responsibilities:

- Perform ship fitting tasks such as layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of structural components and systems on various types of vessels

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders

- Use various hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit metal components

- Weld and join metal pieces together using various welding techniques

- Inspect and test completed work to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards

- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise during the ship fitting process

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a shipfitter in a repair or maintenance setting

- Must have a thorough understanding of ship construction and repair methods

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders

- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and experience with various welding equipment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to work the night shift and have a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs

- Must have excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship

- Must be physically fit and able to work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces and at heights

- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
