Venture Dynamics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced 1st Class Structural Welder to join our team. As a leading provider of ship repair and new construction services, we are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks on a variety of marine structures, including ships, barges, and other vessels. You will work closely with our team of experienced welders, fitters, and supervisors to complete projects on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform structural welding on various marine structures, including hulls, decks, bulkheads, and other components

- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements

- Select and set up welding equipment

- Ensure all welding work is done in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations

- Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards

- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

- Continuously improve welding techniques and processes to increase efficiency and quality of work

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a 1st Class Structural Welder, preferably in a marine or shipyard environment

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

- Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
