Job Description:
Venture Dynamics is currently seeking Senior Aluminum Welders that are responsible for performing high-quality aluminum welding and fabrication in New Orleans LA paying $28.75 including $140 per diem for anyone living 60+ miles away.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced aluminum welding using TIG and/or MIG processes

  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols

  • Fabricate, assemble, and weld aluminum components and structures

  • Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and appearance standards

  • Set up welding equipment, select proper materials, and adjust parameters

  • Inspect welds using visual inspection and measuring tools

  • Troubleshoot welding defects and recommend corrective actions

  • Lead, mentor, and support junior welders and fabricators

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures

  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams

  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition

  • Support production schedules and meet project deadlines

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)

  • 4-5 years of experience in aluminum welding

  • Strong expertise in TIG welding (MIG experience is a plus)

  • Ability to weld various aluminum alloys and thicknesses

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings

  • Knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS, ISO, or equivalent)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Certified Aluminum Welder (AWS or equivalent)

  • Experience with fabrication, cutting, and forming aluminum materials

  • Leadership or supervisory experience

  • Ability to train and assess welding skills of team members

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing or fabrication workshop environment

  • Requires standing for long periods and handling tools and materials

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
